what i love about getting ready....
leaving my now, too-small cocoon
sadness and loss behind me after proper due respect
feeling renewed about what's most important
and reconnecting with the things i love most:
birds more than exhaust
genuine more than glamour
people more than things; and
guts more than glory.
making new friendships
playing with a new language
...and laughing a lot!
feeling a tiny spark of excitement
of what might be---
and trusting everything will be okay
and that somehow....
the timing will be just right!
